The Roof is Off

~~September 30, 2010. That was the last time Seattle was on a date with a 71 degree reading. So we are on day 229~~ Correction: There were no days at 70 degrees in October, come November 3, 2010 Seattle hit a record of 74 degrees F; so 195 days and counting for the another date with 70.. hopefully Friday and please feel free to sing that youtube song.

As for today M's fan will be delighted as the roof will be off tonight. It's still spring so with the sun dialed down a bit, the first pitch at 7:10pm does require jackets. Paige E.'s birthday should be the unofficial start of better weather; when clears days and sunny streaks are longer than the rainy and cloudy streaks. Happy birthday.

I love eating and the weather always amazes me. Put two and two together and you get my smorgasbord of a blog. You can find weather forecasts on the web for the next four days or heck even fifteen days out! I'll let you know now... sometimes those forecasts pan out but a lot of the time the numbers and icons change from day to day. Especially when it comes to extremes; most public forecasters are conservative and stick to a showers and sunbreaks routine before putting down a pinpointed rain or sun in the longer range. So I'll give you my take on the weather in the Pacific Northwest, more so for the Seattle Metropolitan Area. I’ll provide maps and images from my DroidX, UW’s Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Weather Service, and a local television station KOMO4. And, after a long not so fun forecasting day or whenever I will blog about happy hour bites.
